The popular $1,000,000 a Year for Life Spectacular scratch-off game in Florida made another person millionaire.
The Florida Lottery announced Monday that Kazbek Kurbanov, a 68-year-old West Hollywood, California resident, won one of the game's top prizes for a $1m payout.
The incredibly fortunate lottery player will undoubtedly always remember the time he purchased the $50 scratch-off ticket at Winn-Dixie on 1515 East Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Hallandale.
Trying his luck, Kurbanov won one of the game's tier-two prizes.
Selling the $1m lottery ticket, the retailer will benefit from a $2,000 bonus.
After the Florida Lottery launched the $1,000,000 a Year for Life Spectacular scratch-off game, there were a total of 234 prizes of $1m each.
With the odds of winning such a prize being 1 in 185,709, after the most recent win, there are 61 such prizes remaining in play.
Only recently, the California resident visited the Florida Lottery's Miami District Office to claim his big win.
Similar to other players who had won top prizes, the 68-year-old winner decided to receive a one-time lump cash sum, which in this case was $640,000.
The incredibly lucky winner did not disclose any plans regarding the latest windfall.
The Florida Lottery's $1,000,000 a Year for Life Spectacular scratch-off ticket is sold in a price range that varies between $2, $5, $10 and $50.
Offering overall odds of winning any prize of 1 in 4.5, the ticket initially granted two top prizes of $1,000,000 a Year For Life.
The odds of winning such a prize were 1 in 21,727,995 but out of the two prizes offered initially, none remain in play.
On the bright side, besides 61 prizes of $1m each, the game offers plenty of tier-three prizes of $50,000.
The odds of winning a tier-three prize are 1 in 120,711 and out of 360 at the launch of the popular lottery game, now, 95 are up for grabs.
