A Mississippi player has a lot to be happy about after the anonymous winner has secured the game’s third $1,000,000 top prize for the $30 Millionaire Maker scratch-off game, with seven more still to go. The lucky event happened on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Lottery ticket turns successful for a regular player

The winner had purchased their ticket just a day earlier on Monday, September 7, with the Mississippi Lottery sharing more details about the event.

For starters, the player bought their ticket at Shell in Long Beach. Upon speaking with the player, the lottery found out that they were a regular and used that same gas station to purchase tickets.

However, the Shell is not the only shop where he stops by, as he has a "rotation" and travels between specific stores he enjoys to buy his tickets. The winner also shared details about what he intends to do with his newfound fortune.

For starters, he will be buying a new vehicle and also using the remainder of the money to boost their savings. With the ticket claimed very quickly, the Mississippi Lottery has still used this opportunity to remind players to always register their tickets with the lottery app.

This way, in case the ticket gets lost, it may still be retrieved. It has been nine months since the game debuted in the state.
