Wazdan wraps up a successful year, enjoys growth and expansion

The provider of innovative games, powering online gambling operators across the globe, Wazdan, celebrates a successful 2023. Throughout the year, the company achieved multiple milestones, enjoying success and growth over the last 12 months.

This year, Wazdan grew its team of experts by hiring 69 new employees. This increased the company's total workforce to more than 220, positioning it well for further growth and expansion in existing and emerging markets.

In 2023, Wazdan enjoyed exceptional results, with a significant increase in gross gaming revenue. Additionally, the company posted an increase in its total number of bets recorded throughout the year. This exceptional performance complemented Wazdan's ongoing goal to deliver outstanding experiences for its growing number of players across the globe.

Michał Imiołek, Wazdan's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), shared his excitement about the company's performance throughout the year. In a statement, he explained: "Wazdan has had an exceptional 2023, with a plethora of milestones reached across all areas of the business including our team expansion, commercial partnerships, and game releases."

Finally, Imiołek said: "We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished this year and are excited to continue our growth in 2024 by delivering unmatched gaming experiences to our partners and players worldwide."

According to Wazdan, there were a total of eight successful Network Promotions organized throughout this year. The company provided thrilling experiences for its players, considering the massive €4m prize pool for those promotions. Elevating the excitement even further, Wazdan introduced Jackpot Rain, a new engaging promotional tool.

Further milestones achieved this year include the participation of the company in a number of gambling industry events. Wazdan most recently participated in the SiGMA Summit Europe, as well as ICE London, among other important events for the gambling industry.

Besides participating in important industry events, Wazdan was recognized with several awards this year. At the Streamers Awards, the company secured the Game Provider of The Year 2023 award, while at the BSG Awards, it won the Game Feature of the Year award, recognizing its Mystery Drop feature.

This year, Wazdan expanded its portfolio of partners by signing important commercial partnerships for strategic regulated gambling markets across the globe. Notable deals include collaborations with Bally's Interactive, Solverde.pt and BetMGM, among others.

At the same time, the company grew its portfolio of games by introducing 53 new titles. Throughout 2023, Wazdan expanded its player-favorite Coins and Hot Slot franchises. Additionally, the company grew its portfolio with 9 Coins Grand Diamond Edition, a game that was recently nominated for the Global Gaming Awards.
