Scientific Games confirms promotion of Beth Bresnahan

The leading global provider of analytics, digital games, technology and services that benefit lottery and betting operators across the globe, Scientific Games (SG), announced a new senior-level promotion. Earlier this week, the company confirmed it looked within its ranks for the newly created role of Chief Communications and Brand Officer. As a result, SG confirmed the promotion of Beth Bresnahan, who was most recently Vice President of Strategic Communications.

In her new elevated role, Bresnahan will oversee the strategic global communications for the company. She will spearhead other important processes, including internal and external communications, as well as initiatives related to different events, tradeshows and advertising. Ultimately, as Chief Communications and Brand Officer, Bresnahan is expected to guarantee a consistent and unified voice for the company along with a robust brand presence within different media channels and platforms.

Throughout her extensive career, the executive has accumulated solid experience and helped create effective and impactful business, marketing and communications strategies that played a key role in the development of both private and public companies. Overall, Bresnahan has more than two decades of experience and has held a number of senior-level roles with recognizable companies and brands, including Citizens Financial Group, Wynn Resorts and the Boston Red Sox, among others.

Pat McHugh, SG's CEO, shared her excitement about the latest promotion in a statement. "This promotion will come as no surprise to those who know and have worked with Beth," he explained. Finally, McHugh said: "Her strategic vision, extensive experience in brand communications and deep knowledge of Scientific Games and the lottery industry have earned her the respect and support of our entire company and leadership team."
