Scientific Games named Great Place to Work for second year in India

The leading provider of digital and retail games, services, analytics and technology, supercharging lotteries across the globe, Scientific Games (SG), secured an important recognition in India.

On Wednesday, the company confirmed it was recognized as a Great Place to Work for its offices in Bangalore, India.

The prestigious recognition is secured by SG in India for the second year in a row.

The achievement highlights the ongoing efforts of the company to foster an exceptional workplace culture "built on innovation, collaboration and inclusivity," as explained in a press release.

The prestigious benchmark follows rigorous employee feedback assessment, along with an independent audit by Great Place to Work.

SG's learning and management operations have undergone that assessment, as well as the company's policies and benefits.

Ultimately, the company's employees in Bangalore shared their honest opinions, which highlighted SG's dedication to engaging with its team.

Mahesh Nanjundappa, Scientific Games India's Managing Director, commented: "Earning the Great Place to Work certification for the second consecutive year is a true honor."

The executive explained that the prestigious achievement is a testament to the company's dedication to fostering an environment for its employees that enables them to grow personally and professionally.

Pat McHugh, SG's CEO, was equally as excited about the latest announcement.

Last but not least, McHugh said that the company is proud to see its team contribute to the development of the company.

It was nearly ten years ago, in 2015, when SG set up its lottery operations center in Bangalore.

Only recently, the company moved its offices to a new state-of-the-art facility and now offers opportunities in research and development, quality assurance, as well as software development.

Roles that local residents can benefit from include financial and administrative positions, as well as technology and other important jobs.

Earlier this month, SG teamed up with the Ohio Lottery, further expanding its presence in the United States.
