The leading supplier of retail and digital games, analytics, technology and services, powering government-operated lotteries and betting programs, Scientific Games (SG), reported that its Fast Play games lead within the retail market across the United States.

The company's Fast Play games generate more than $1.5b in sales

Growing across the country, the company provides its Fast Play games to 27 lotteries.

Last week, SG confirmed that its games have brought success to lotteries across the US and in fact lead retail performance in the top three Fast Play lottery markets based on per capita retail sales.

In a newly released report, the company confirmed that its Fast Play products helped generate more than $1.5bn in sales for the 2024 fiscal year.

SG confirmed that lotteries in Vermont, Arizona, Iowa, Maryland, Oklahoma, Maine and Pennsylvania all reported year-over-year increases in Fast Play game sales.

Continuing its upward trend, SG confirmed that it plans to deliver its Fast Play games to two more US lotteries in the next 24 months.

At the same time, the company said that one of its current lottery clients plans to introduce a Fast Play game with a $50 price tag.

SG's games bring solid results in Vermont, Kansas

Vermont is currently a leader when it comes to Fast Play retail weekly per capita sales in the US.

The solid success reported by the Vermont Lottery comes after its transition to Scientific Games' products back in 2022.

At the time, the Lottery gained access to a new lottery system provided by SG.

The year after the conversion, the Vermont Lottery reported a sales increase of 93%.

Comparing year-over-year performance between the financial year 2024 and 2023, another increase was observed as sales grew by 33%.

On the other hand, the Kansas Lottery most recently launched Scientific Games' Fast Play products.

Not unexpectedly, since the launch this summer, the high-performance Fast Play games delivered exciting experiences to customers across the state.

The collaboration represented an expansion of SG's relationship with the Kansas Lottery considering that since 2018, the company has provided its systems technology.

Stephen Durrell, Kansas Lottery's Executive Director, shared his excitement about the collaboration with SG.

"Our vision is to continue working with Scientific Games to modernize the Kansas Lottery with new technologies and new games like Fast Play so that we remain exciting and relevant to our players and retailers, and continually improve our contributions to the state of Kansas," he revealed.

Leslie Badger, SG's VP of Lottery Content was similarly delighted and added: "We worked with the Kansas Lottery’s team to implement a strategic, targeted approach to launch its new Fast Play games, employing a managed portfolio strategy similar to our proven method for scratch-off games."

Finally, Badger explained that extensive analysis was required prior to the introduction of the company's games but so far, the results are excellent.
