Century Casinos confirms opening of Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville

The 1992-founded North American casino entertainment company, Century Casinos Inc., announced it opened the doors of its newest hotel and casino in Missouri.

The company continues to expand its footprint in Missouri

On Friday, the company confirmed the opening of Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville, the newest land-based hotel and casino in Caruthersville.

The new permanent land-based venue opens its doors after a development with a $51.9m price tag that was funded through VICI Properties Inc.

Currently, the company owns the real estate improvements related to the project which is the latest to join its "triple net master lease agreement with subsidiaries of VICI," as explained by a statement released by Century Casinos.

Earlier this year, Century Casinos opened the doors of another hospitality establishment in Missouri.

At the time, the company confirmed the opening of The Riverview hotel in Cape Girardeau.

The aforementioned six-story hotel is adjacent to Century Casino Cape Girardeau, ensuring that the visitors have access to plenty of gaming and entertainment options.

Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville offers hospitality and entertainment

Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Co-Chief Executive Officers of Century Casinos, shared their excitement regarding the latest announcement.

The duo pointed to the importance of the strategic transformation of the hotel and casino.

This redevelopment helped turn the last riverboat on the Mississippi River and a small temporary venue into a complete hotel and casino resort, they added.

Haitzmann and Hoetzinger acknowledged that Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville now offers not only a proper gaming floor and hotel rooms, but a bar, restaurant and RV park.

"The new resort will provide much improved and more convenient entertainment experiences, and we look forward to attracting customers from further into Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas," the executives explained in conclusion.

The new land-based hotel and casino boasts 26,000 square feet of gaming space, 50% larger when compared to the temporary venue.

The casino ensures premium gambling entertainment with its 599 slot machines, as well as nine live table games.

As noted, further amenities for visitors include a bar and a restaurant.

Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville also offers 74 luxury hotel rooms and an RV park.

Ultimately, the new hotel and casino is expected to become a go-to destination for the region.
