Rank Group picks Andrew Peat for Managing Director role with Rank Interactive

The leading gambling and entertainment company, The Rank Group Plc, announced details regarding a new senior-level appointment. Earlier this week, the company confirmed it selected Andrew Peat to serve as the Managing Director of Rank Interactive. Although the appointment was unveiled this week, The Rank Group confirmed that Peat will join Rank Interactive's C-suite later this year.

In his new role as Managing Director, he will be in charge of the development of the company. Moreover, he will oversee strategic processes related to expansion and the execution of Rank's digital strategy for markets such as the United Kingdom. Taking the role of Managing Director, Peat will be based in Gibraltar. Joining the company's C-suite, he will report to Rank's incoming Chief Operating Officer, Jon Martin.

In a statement, Peat shared his excitement saying: "The chance to join Rank at such a pivotal time for the digital business was too good an opportunity to turn down." Additionally, he explained: "The potential to build on the good work of recent years is huge, powered by Rank's own proprietary technology and a first-class team of engaged colleagues in the Interactive team."

Focusing on the future, Peat outlined that he will leverage his extensive experience to help the growth of Rank within the sports and gaming verticals. Finally, he said that he is looking forward to seeing the success the collaboration will bring.

On the other hand, Martin, who is set to take the role of Chief Operating Officer later this year, added that Peat will make a great addition to the company's growing team of experts. He added: "His experience in sports and gaming, along with his track record in delivering cross channel improvements at one of the biggest sportsbook brands in the UK bodes well for the important job he will soon be undertaking in Gibraltar."

Martin pointed out: "Rank Interactive has enjoyed significant growth recently and Andrew's appointment will look to capitalize on the momentum we have in the business." Last but not least, he said that he is looking forward to seeing Peat become a part of the company's team later this year.
