The first third-party app in the US that offers a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, Jackpocket, announced a new collaboration with NHL's Dallas Stars. The announcement came Thursday and sees the team designate Jackpocket as its Official Digital Lottery Courier Partner.
The new deal is set to launch with the 2022-23 hockey season. This marks an exclusive agreement between the duo which will be valid for the next three years. The latest collaboration further complements Jackpocket's ongoing expansion while at the same time, it is expected to bring unique experiences for fans of the famous NHL team.
Celebrating the collaboration with the Dallas Stars, Jackpocket announced the launch of a special promotion. New users of the app can use a promo code "STARS" when checking out to receive their first lottery ticket for free.
What's more, the company vowed to deliver different activations during the hockey season and bring prizes for fans of the team. Such prizes can include behind-the-scenes access, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and more exciting opportunities. It's no surprise that Jackpocket plans to introduce VIP experiences and special events as well.
In a statement released on December 1, 2022, the founder and CEO of Jackpocket, Peter Sullivan, said: "We're thrilled to announce our latest major sports franchise partnership with the Dallas Stars, the only NHL team in Texas."
Moreover, he added that the company is delighted to become the team's Official Digital Lottery Courier. Finally, Sullivan said that the partnership with the Dallas Stars brings excitement and Jackpocket is looking forward to seeing its logo on the team's scoreboard at Dallas' American Airlines Center.
Brad Alberts, Dallas Stars' President and Chief Executive Officer, added: "We are excited to launch this new partnership with Jackpocket and bring the excitement and convenience of its digital lottery courier app to our great fans."
Last but not least, he pointed out: "Jackpocket is going to be our trusted partner, and we could not be more excited about working together to elevate our game-day experiences for our most loyal fans."
The latest collaboration marks another deal inked by Jackpocket with a leading sports franchise. Back in October, Jackpocket joined forces with the New York Islanders and became an Official Home Helmet partner for the leading NHL team. Earlier this year, Jackpocket also teamed up with the famous MLB team, the New York Mets.
As the first licensed third-party lottery courier app in the US, Jackpocket continues to expand its reach. By now, the app has a presence in multiple key US markets such as New York, New Jersey, Colorado, West Virginia, and Ohio, among others.
