Andy Evers, an executive with more than 10 years of experience in the business-to-business (B2B) online gambling sector, joined the leading iGaming technology company, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG).
On Tuesday, GiG confirmed the appointment of the executive who was given the role of Senior Vice President (SVP) of Commercial.
The latest C-suite hire comes at a time when GiG anticipates further growth in its network of partners.
Ensuring the provision of its best-in-class services to its growing customer base, the company turned to Evers, who will play a key role in that process.
As SVP of Commercial, the executive will oversee GiG's Commercial, Managed Services and Account Management teams.
Leveraging his extensive experience, Evers will help streamline operational processes while helping grow the company's partner network.
An ongoing priority for the new SVP of Commercial would be seamless delivery and execution of services. At the same time, Evers' efforts will have the ultimate goal to drive GiG's expansion.
The company's new SVP of Commercial, shared his excitement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"I've been incredibly impressed by the vision and strategy that GiG's executive management team has implemented, as well as the immense potential for significant growth and expansion within the business," he explained.
Finally, Evers outlined: "Having worked with some of the executive team closely during my time at DraftKings, I’ve seen firsthand the high standards they uphold and I look forward to the challenge of helping scale its operational and commercial capabilities during what promises to be a truly exciting period ahead."
The senior-level appointment comes after an important announcement made by GiG only recently.
Back in January, the company confirmed it grew its partnership with Primero Games after launching an online sweepstake casino.
James Coxon, GiG's COO, outlined that Evers joins the company at an important moment for the business.
"His experience and proven track-record at driving commercial successes feed into our commitment to optimize our partners’ operations, ensuring we remain able to understand and serve their needs, delivering industry leading and world class support in multiple markets," Coxon added.
Overall, Evers has more than 10 years of experience in the gambling sector.
Throughout his career, he was employed by renowned brands and companies, including DraftKings, Betsson Group and Betgenius.
Evers' dedication and track record make him a solid addition to GiG's team.
Last year, GiG appointed Andreas Söneby, an executive with solid gaming experience, as a member of its GiG Platform Board.
