GiG and Primero launch online sweesptake casino

GiG Software Plc, a leading B2B iGaming tech company, has announced the next step of its collaboration with Primero Games, a prominent land-based sweepstakes operator, with the duo now launching the SweepX platform, a sweepstakes casino platform.

This move comes at a time of increased scrutiny into the sector when mainstream operators have repeatedly accused the sweepstake casino sector of de facto offering an unregulated type of online casino games.

The launch of the new casino by GiG and Primero, though, is indication enough that the sweepstake casino sector is thriving and continues to expand as some of the largest names in the sector are joining in.

Commenting on this new rollout, GiG CEO Richard Carter has said the following, remaining optimistic about both the specific vertical and the US market:

"The launch of SweepX with Primero, a prominent land-based sweepstakes operator in the US, marks an important strategic step forward for GiG. Through Primero, we have the opportunity to leverage our technology with an established partner, which we believe may enhance our standing in the growing US market."

SweepX has already received an overwhelmingly positive reception, Carter noted. Primer CEO Barry Rutherford was similarly pleased with this opportunity and argued that the company was delighted to launch its online sweepstakes offering in the United States and with no other partner than GiG in particular.

Rutherford added: "This well-timed launch leaves us nicely placed to capture a greater share of the rapidly expanding online US sweepstakes market as we aim to grow and diversify our online gambling offering in the geography."

SweepX to truly elevate Primero’s product offering

Primero and GiG first teamed up in May last year, agreeing to leverage GiG’s online infrastructure to help elevate and level up Primero’s distinct offer.

Thanks to SweepX, GiG is providing Primero with the infrastructure as well as a dual-wallet system and prize-redemption management to leave its mark on the industry and truly elevate its offer.

GiG is also bringing a bespoke sweepstake back-office software, along with AI-assisted gamification tools, and more to make Primero’s offer more distinguishable in the market.
