Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa, the leading gaming, hospitality and entertainment venue in Florida, announced it strengthened its team with an experienced executive.
Last week, the venue, operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, announced that it hired Lu Tsai for the role of Vice President of Asian Player Development.
Joining the C-suite at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, the executive will be in charge of strategic initiatives.
A primary focus for Tsai as Vice President of Asian Player Development would be expanding the player growth of the resort among the Asian communities.
He will also oversee other growth initiatives and processes, while at the same time collaborating with the operator's executive level team.
Only recently, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa showcased $65M in renovations.
The premium gaming and entertainment venue highlighted a number of resort enhancements, including a new gaming area, newly renovated smoke-free hotel rooms and other amenities.
The multi-million-dollar renovations helped create some 200 new jobs, growing the venue's team beyond the 4,300 mark and reaffirming its position as a major employer in the region.
Overall, Tsai has more than 25 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality sector.
Throughout his extensive career, he played a major role by overseeing the pre-opening teams at Harrah's back in 2004, Grand Lisboa Palace in 2019 and in 2023, Mohegan Inspire.
Tsai's experience spans from Las Vegas to Macau, South Korea and Vietnam.
For more than a decade, he held senior-level roles at Harrah's and Caesars.
On the other hand, he was also part of recognizable gambling venues, including Grand Ho Tram, SJM, City of Dreams and Galaxy, among others.
Undoubtedly, Tsai's expert knowledge, wide range of skills, deep understanding of Asian markets and track record, make him an excellent fit for the new role at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
