The CS2 event will feature a $1m prize pool

The TWC 2026 Finals will be taking place at BLAST Studios Malta.

The engaging event is planned between October 14 and October 18, 2026, and the teams will compete for a $1m prize pool.

Notably, FURIA, the 2025 champions, will return to the Finals this year and compete against seven of the eight teams ranked inside Global VRS top 20, as explained in a press release from Thunderpick.

For the TWC 2026, Hotspawn will once again serve as a Presenting Partner, taking a central role for content coverage of the tournament and the CS2 teams set to compete.

A roster of recognizable Counter-Strike voices will be featured on the TWC 2026 Finals broadcast.

The list includes Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, Hugo Byron, Alex "Machine" Richardson and Harry "JustHarry" Russell, who will take the role of casters, while Tres "stunna" Saranthus and Sam "Tech Girl" Wright will be hosting the desk.

Expert analysts, Janko "YNk" Paunović, Sudhen "Bleh" Wahengbam, Teodor "Tedd" Borisov and Jason "moses" O'Toole will also join the TWC 2026 Finals broadcast.

James Banks will be the stage host, joined by Anastasija "Heccu" Tolmačeva, who will be the sideline reporter of the upcoming esports event.

Eight of the best CS2 teams will compete

Kelly Sanders, Thunderpick’s Head of Strategy, spoke about the upcoming tournament.

"Counter-Strike fans know a great matchup when they see one, and this field has plenty of them," the executive said.

"We've got teams that have been battling at the highest level all year, a defending champion looking for another historic performance, and plenty of room for new headlines to emerge in Malta. That's what makes TWC so much fun," Sanders explained in conclusion.

Besides defending 2025 champions FURIA, the event will feature recognizable CS2 teams, including Virtus.pro, Aurora, PARIVISION, 9z, Falcons, Legacy and BETBOOM.
