The leading Saudi Arabian esports organization, Team Falcons, reaffirmed its dominance at the recent Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 Rocket League Grand Final with a dominant win against Spacestation Gaming.
To appear at the Rocket League Grand Final, Team Falcons played with control and confidence throughout the tournament.
The Saudi esports club progressed undefeated through the Group Stage, winning games against Gentle Mates and R8 Esports.
Although Gentle Mates planned a reverse sweep after falling 2-0 behind, Team Falcons reaffirmed its dominance and preserved their unbeaten record.
During the Rocket League Playoff stage at EWC 26, Team Falcons faced Twisted Minds in the quarterfinals.
Ultimately, Falcons emerged as the winners against Twisted Minds with a 4-2 victory.
Then, the popular esports club faced defending Rocket League champions Karmine Corp for an intense semifinal game.
Not unexpectedly, Team Falcons showed no hesitation and won with a 4-0 sweep, securing a place in the Grand Final.
During the Rocket League Grand Final, Team Falcons were up against Spacestation Gaming and after a late equalizer needed overtime to claim the win in Game 1.
In Game 2, the high-stakes play continued after Team Falcons scored one point to secure an early lead before Spacestation Gaming secured one goal to level the game.
This prompted the Saudi esports club to maintain its focus and momentum to overcome with a 3-1 victory.
Building on this advantage and positive momentum, the Falcons won Game 3 with a 4-1 victory.
During the final Game 4, Spacestation Gaming pushed back heavily at the start, but Team Falcons executed excellent defense.
Then, through strategy and confidence, the Saudi club scored three goals, completing a 4-0 sweep to win the EWC 26 Rocket League Champion trophy.
Consisting of twin brothers Yazid "Kiileerrz" Bakhashwin and Saleh "Rw9" Bakhashwin, as well as Samy "dralii" Hajji, Team Falcons won the tournament's $400,000 top prize and collected 1,000 Club Championship points.
The win marked a major milestone for Samy "dralii" Hajji, who became a three-time EWC champion after competing with three different rosters.
The outstanding performance of Saleh "Rw9" Bakhashwin earned him the SONY MVP award along with an extra $25,000 prize.
