The globally-recognizable esports organization, FaZe Clan, clinched a 3-1 victory against the Brazilian team, FURIA, to win the Rainbow 6 Siege Grand Final during Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026.
FaZe clan demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the prestigious Rainbow 6 Siege tournament, eliminating rivals and advancing with ease before reaching the Grand Final.
Unlike its early knockout last year, the professional esports team played exceptionally well, eliminating long-time rivals Team Liquid, as well as prominent teams like Virtus pro and Geekay Esports.
In the end, to lift the EWC Rainbow 6 Siege trophy, FaZe Clan had to meet FURIA.
In the first two games, the former gained early advantage by securing wins, before FURIA clinched an 8-6 victory on map three.
Then, in map four, the game was close but ultimately FaZe Clan overcame its rivals with a 7-5 win to take home the Rainbow 6 Siege EWC 2026 trophy.
The win at EWC 26 marked a major milestone for FaZe Clan as three of its members became Triple Crown Winners.
Those are Jaime "Cyber" Ramos, Eduardo "KDS" Chiste Fontes and Lucas "soulz1" Schinke, who became the first players to earn the prestigious honor.
Equally as exciting, Jaime "Cyber" Ramoswon the SONY MVP award for his outstanding performance at the Grand Final, recording 53 kills across the four maps and only 29 deaths.
In a press release, Cyber said: "I'm very happy for this achievement."
Moreover, he pointed out: "(With) the boys, I was kind of playing with them that I was going to steal their MVP award because I was a little behind. In this finals I managed to do pretty well. I’m super thankful for everyone, like my family, the fans, especially the fans that came all the way from Brazil."
His teammate, Lucas "soulz1" Schinke, was just as excited and added: "We imagined that we could go far with this org, with our whole lineup, and now being here and being the champions, it’s so nice."
"Some past tournaments that we managed to not (do) very well, and kinda misplayed a little bit, we know it was something small that we could fix. So we maintain everything, and we work hard for it," the esports player said in conclusion.
