Thunderpick, an esports betting company, has become the Official Presenting Partner of the Esports Awards in 2026. The partnership extends for a full year, with Thunderpick also named the Official iGaming Partner for the upcoming event that is due to take place in Miami on November 17, 2026, and will span 12 months, during which Thunderpick will leverage its footprint with esports audiences to popularize the event and, vice versa, connect with new audiences.
Thunderpick will have a leading role during the 2026 program, which will also include participation in the event itself, Esports Play of the Month, and Origins Podcast.
Thunderpick will have the honors to present three awards specifically, including the Esports Play of the Month already mentioned, along with Esports Play of the Year, and Streamer of the Year, celebrating both noteworthy competitive moments and the content creators who continue to drive awareness for esports.
Esports Awards CEO Michael Ashford has welcomed the opportunity to onboard Thunderpick:
"We’re thrilled to welcome Thunderpick as the Presenting Partner of the 2026 Esports Awards. This partnership goes far beyond the awards ceremony, with Thunderpick supporting key moments across our events, content, and business programming. Together, we’re looking forward to delivering an exciting 2026 programme and celebrating the people and moments that continue to define esports."
Esports Awards and Thunderpick will also collaborate on content series that focus on current and former professional esports players, focusing on their careers and experiences, and how accomplished players have helped shape the industry.
Thunderpick’s Kelly Sanders, the company’s Head of Strategy, was similarly excited about the opportunity to see the company join the Esports Awards in such an important capacity.
"The Awards and content series give fans a closer look at the players who have helped shape the scene, and that’s what makes this partnership exciting for us," Sanders explained, adding that the idea is to show that there is a lot more happening outside of the games and that it too deserves a bigger spotlight.
"We are excited to help bring those stories to life," Sanders concluded.
