Kappa unveils Change the Game collection with Virtus.pro

The professional esports organization that is globally recognized and has a rich history spanning back to 2003, Virtus.pro, announced a new partnership with the famous clothing brand Kappa. The duo unveiled details regarding the new partnership Thursday.

Per the terms of the new deal, Virtus.pro players will participate in Change the Game, a unique new brand campaign by Kappa. Additionally, a joint spring collection between the famous esports organization and the clothing brand will be introduced later this year, a statement reveals.

The brand's new campaign was joined by Virtus.pro's CS:GO players, Jame, Qikert, FL1T, n0rb3r7 and fame. The unique campaign took the players to a virtual realm known as Kappa Virtual Hub. The digital vertical was described as "an inspiring environment where real abilities and talents become super skills."

A video that is a part of the campaign portrayed the players entering a virtual realm and interacting with a digital avatar of a female character. This character explains to Virtus.pro's players the rules of the digital vertical and watches them display their capabilities and skills.

The new collection by Kappa in collaboration with the famous esports organization is going to include clothes as well as footwear. The men's collection is going to include trousers, sweatshirts, t-shirts in polo style and windbreakers, while the women's clothes are going to feature leggings, joggers, as well as sweatshirts, hoodies and t-shirts.

The collections are going to feature popular and recognizable colors including gray, blue, white and black. According to Kappa, the new collection "is inspired by some of the classic models and the brand's football heritage." Besides clothes, the collection in collaboration with Virtus.pro will feature men's and women's Kappa Vetro sneakers.

Nikolai Petrossian, Virtus.pro's CEO, shared his excitement about the deal, acknowledging that Kappa is a globally recognized brand with a rich heritage. Moreover, he said that the brand has supplied many globally recognized sports teams with equipment.

Petrossian said about Kappa: "It doesn’t simply follow modern trends, but also sets them. Therefore, we are pleased that Kappa is transferring its historical heritage to the digital world with such a large-scale collaboration in the territory of esports and doing it together with Virtus.pro." Finally, he predicted that the fans of the club will like the deal, considering that Virtus.pro and Kappa share a passion for style.

Anton Chesnokov, Kappa's Senior Brand Manager, added that the deal with Virtus.pro represents an important collaboration for the company and marks a significant step within the esports vertical. Finally, he said: "It will allow us to contribute to the development of both the club itself and the entire industry as a whole and will make the world of the future that we talk about so much even more real."
