Thunderkick has made its debut in the United States with the company teaming up with High 5 Casino, a social casino operator, which will now benefit from the extensive range of titles brought on by the independent software developer, Casino Guru News learned in an email news release.

As a result, High 5 Casino players will get their hands on some award-winning titles, such as Pink Elephants and Sword of Khan, all of which can be played for free and without staking any real money. Presently, High 5 Casino is available in 40 states in the United States, and it’s one of the longest-standing operators in this vertical, with a history that goes back to 1995 when the casino was first established.

Thunderkick has cherished the opportunity to enter this collaboration as it allows it to rapidly showcase its games and also seek and explore opportunities for real money gaming in future. Thunderkick is also able to jump-start any potential expansion move in the state thanks to its collaboration with Relax Gaming, a company that both distributes third-party content and creates its own titles.

Commenting on this new partnership, High 5 Games VP of Creative JerryWilson said that Thunderkick’s games have already won players over in Europe, and they are likely to do the same for US audiences.

"We’re sure our players will take to these titles, and they will become fan favourites in no time at all. We’re delighted about the launch of our new partnership," Wilson noted.

Thunderkick CCO Svante Sahlström was similarly pleased with the opportunity to gain traction in the sweepstakes market through High 5 Casino.

"We are excited to introduce our games to US players for the first time and to explore the potential of this market segment," Sahlström added. This partnership will allow the supplier to demonstrate its technological capabilities and unique gameplay features, which resemble real money gambling but carry none of the risks.

Social casinos have been a segment that real money gambling companies have explored readily, not just as a chance to boost awareness for their products, but also as an opportunity to generate additional revenue and income.

SOFTSWISS, one of the world’s largest iGaming technology companies, has similarly acquired Ously Games GmbH, which operates SpinArena social casino, Europe’s biggest.
