SOFTSWISS, a leading developer of technology and content for the iGaming industry, has added another facet to its multi-pronged offer, acquiring a large stake in Ously Games GmbH, the company behind Europe’s biggest social casino, and allowing the company to expand in yet another exciting and important vertical.

The move is designed to strengthen SOFTSWISS’ own presence in one of the fastest-growing online gambling verticals and also reap the benefits therein. Social casinos are increasingly presenting players with outstanding choices of popular casino games, but they do not necessarily pay real money, while still driving massive engagement.

Presently, Ously Games GmbH hosts SpinArena dot net, the largest social casino in Europe in terms of available slot games, which has tripled its player base in 2023, reaching a total audience of 700,000 registered players.

Commenting on this opportunity, Ously Games GmbH Founder Jochen Martinez said that he was very happy to see the partnership take place, with the partnership able to drive significant insights and innovations for both companies.

"Collaborating with SOFTSWISS opens new horizons and ensures access to top-notch resources and support essential for thriving in the competitive iGaming landscape," Martinez said.

SOFTSWISS Founder Ivan Montik was similarly pleased with the opportunity and said that his company was anticipating huge growth for the social casino sector within the iGaming industry. This is why SOFTSWISS is making a pre-emptive move, seeking to diversify its portfolio and expand in this vertical.

Social casinos are hailed as more than just a trend or a blip on the radar. They have a staying power in the iGaming industry and have been able to deliver compelling experiences for players by providing a unique mix of authentic gaming, social engagement, and innovation, but none of the risk that is usually associated with or carried by regular casinos.
