Simplebet appoints Andre Bessette to CPO role

Simplebet, a sports betting tech leader, has appointed Andre Bessette as the company’s new Chief Product Officer. Bessette has served with the company as Vice President of Product and is now moving up a rung in the corporate ladder, bringing a wealth of experience and a deeper understanding of the company’s ethos, structure, and long-term goals.

Simplebet is a brand-new company in relative terms, established in 2018, and setting out to turn sports betting into a more accessible and immediate pleasure. The company, which specializes on tech solutions for the regulated sports betting market, has already been working with a number of noteworthy leaders in the vertical, among which are names such as Caesars, DraftKings, bet365, and not least, Hard Rock Digital.

Stepping into this new position, Bessette will have the opportunity to build on his experience over the past years and add more value to the business as a whole. Commenting on Bessette’s appointment, Simplebet Chief Operating Officer Mark Nerenberg had this to add:

"We have ambitious plans to expand our offerings over the next 12-18 months, and promoting Andre to CPO shows our commitment to winning with product, technology, and innovation."

Bessette is not a chance pick either. He joined Simplebet as Director of Product shortly after the company went live in 2019. Ever since, he has been working in various roles, with his promotion to VP of Product taking place in January 2022. His professional path has taken him to other brands too, including DraftKings where he worked as manager of analytics.

As part of Simplebet and its CPO now, Bessette will work on boosting the company’s in-play and micro-betting products, hoping to achieve better overall results. He will also work in driving innovation and help build new partnerships.

He assured that Simplebet is only getting started, as it has more live betting products and innovation to offer over the coming years. Bessette added that sports bettors can expect to get a "top tier" live betting experience powered by Simplebet’s software.
