The upcoming UFC White House Fight Card has been settled, Dana White, the promotion’s boss, confirmed, with the event due to take place on June 14. No fighter names have been shared, however.
There has been a lot of speculation as to who may end up in the Main Event and supporting fights, with Conor McGregor being an outspoken supporter of his own cause, trying to cozy up to President Donald Trump over social media. McGregor, however, would expect to be duly remunerated for his participation, supposedly seeking a $10m paycheck.
White has still withheld some of the details, as they are being hammered out, but America’s 250th anniversary is going to be celebrated in style, the UFC’s top honcho confirmed.
Rather than the usual 14 fights, the upcoming event will host about six or seven bouts in total. White may be planning several title fights to take place during the White House event, though, as he coyly said recently that he is going to keep mum about their exact number.
This suggests that, rather than having the traditional format where lesser-known fighters debut or keep audiences primed for the Main Fight, the White House event could feature one big fight after the other, reuniting a whole lot of talented fighters.
The owner of Power Slap and UFC president himself has vowed to create something unprecedented in scope and breadth: "But let me tell you this, this event is going to be so badass and so unique and so special, and so expensive."
The UFC has been embroiled in a gambling scandal recently, with at least two fights investigated by the FBI over allegations that participants may have purposefully participated in match-fixing or/and/or leaked insider information to third parties.
Details about what is arguably the most anticipated UFC event in 2026 are still forthcoming and will be updated here as they become available.
