“There are still questions about Shedeur Sanders,” NFL Insider Jason La Canfora

Ahead of the start of the 2026 NFL season, there are plenty of questions that need answers.

One such question surrounds the Cleveland Browns’ Shedeur Sanders, and luckily, Casino Guru News got a tip from the NFL reporter, insider and analyst, Jason La Canfora.

In an exclusive interview, he said: "There are still questions about Shedeur Sanders’ decision-making on the field and off the field."

He added that the Browns’ player has even faced issues at press conferences once again, during this offseason.

"And what Jimmy Haslam, who cuts the checks is well aware of, is that his football team is 9 and 10 in Deshaun Watson’s 19 starts. And that doesn’t sound like much, but by Cleveland Browns standards, that’s pretty damn good," La Canfora continued.

According to the NFL insider, those stats, combined with the salary, means that Deshaun Watson isn’t going to "get $40m to hold a clipboard this year."

Instead, La Canfora predicts that Watson is going to have to play football, "at least play football for a while and earn it."

The NFL insider referenced a discussion by the Cleveland Browns’ head coach, Todd Monken, who acknowledged that he wanted to see that Watson was still having fun while playing football.

"I needed to see that he wanted to do this because there are certain people in the League who feel like the only reason he’s still doing this is because that contract is fully guaranteed and because of the money," La Canfora continued, referencing Monken’s discussion over the weekend.
