The UFC is coming to the White House on America’s 250th birthday, as confirmed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO, Dana White, who appeared on the Full Send Podcast, promising to bring the "baddest card of all time."
President Donald Trump floated the idea to a crowd during a speech at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa. The event originally sought to gather as many as 20,000 – 25,000 people on the White House lawn, but these plans have been revised as White recently spoke to Fox News and said that the stadium on the South Lawn would accommodate up to 5,000 spectators instead.
Press secretary Karoline Leavitt has confirmed that the President was "dead serious" about bringing the UFC to the White House on July 4, 2026, and called the event "EPIC" on X, a social media platform. Here is all you need to know about Trump’s UFC Fight at the White House.
The UFC Fight at the White House date was previously confirmed for Monday, July 4, 2026, but the event has been moved to June due to logistical challenges, with the exact date to be confirmed. The event will most likely start like most other fight cards, at around 7:00 pm ET, and run for five to six hours, depending on who is fighting, how fast the fights are moving, and what accompanying fanfare there may be.
It’s going to be EPIC! https://t.co/fNes3H3jEI

The event will be a Pay-Per-View card, Dana White has confirmed in a recent discussion on the podcast. This means that people can tune in and watch by simply paying for access. Conor McGregor could be invited to make a return as he is associated with the UFC’s highest-grossing Pay-Per-View card ever, garnering 2.4 million PPV buys in 2018 when he fought Khabib Nurmagomedov.
As we are drawing closer to the date, the most likely Main Event for the time being appears to be a bout between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. White has confirmed that McGregor wants to fight at the UFC White House "bad" and he was entertaining the idea of letting him, but nothing was confirmed just yet. Despite a lack of concrete confirmation, McGregor appeared on Fox News in mid-September and said:
"I am on it. Michael Chandler and myself have done the show Ultimate Fighter. We have a good back and forth. He’s a good, tough guy. The Mac is excited to come back for sure."
An average UFC event lasts about five to six hours, and it features anything between 10 and 14 fights. With this in mind, the upcoming UFC White House fight could ensure that only the most worthwhile fighters are admitted to participate.
This includes both the prelims and main event, and there are talks about two Main Events with two possible main fights possibly planned between Ilia Topuria versus Islam Makhachev, and Tom Aspinall, the current UFC heavyweight champion, versus Jon Jones.
All of this remains purely hypothetical without any serious confirmation coming. Dana White, though, has said during a recent Full Send Podcast that he was interested in creating the "baddest card of all time," which essentially served as an official confirmation that this type of event will happen.
Mark Zuckerberg has long been looking to debut in the UFC as well, and he briefly considered fighting Elon Musk, his tech billionaire rival, but gave up after Musk continued to procrastinate and joke about the fight. Zuckerberg was due to fight in the UFC before, but an injury prevented him from attending.
New details are bound to emerge rapidly about this new event, and the build-up is definitely going to be a part of the event. There are plenty of potential fighters besides the ones already mentioned that could be coming to the UFC White House event.
Happy 4th of July, USA. 🇺🇸

Excited with President Trump announcing a UFC fight event at the White House.
I would be honoured! Count me in! 🤩☘️
MichaelChandler is one, and a possible bout between Jorge Masvidal vs. Leon Edwards is another possibility to entertain. With roughly 24 fighters to be invited, there are plenty of opportunities there. Sean Strickland and Colby Covington are both prime candidates to attend and fight, and so is Paddy Pimblett.
Alright, now that we have covered some of the basics, it’s time to see if you can get a spot yourself. The usual price for tickets at such events varies, with UFC putting a price tag at anything between $700 and $4,000 per ticket.
However, an event such as this would certainly fetch much stiffer ticket costs, and it is hardly just that. To get inside the White House, you need more than just the money to pay upfront – you need social capital and possibly a favor.
While Dana White has claimed that President Trump wants to make the White House feel more fun again, make it American, the event would most likely be a very select affair, especially when attendance in the government’s most symbolic building is concerned.
As Dana White has said, both the White House and the UFC are now in the process of sorting out the "logistics" of the event. Over the coming months, many of the questions posed here will be answered through an official source. We will know if we will be able to pay to attend or will have to settle for PPV instead.
Yes, there is a White House UFC event planned for June 2026. The final date will be specified soon.
Some of the most likely fighters to attend are Ilia Topuria, Islam Makhalchev, Tom Aspinall, Jon Jones, Mark Zuckerberg, and Conor McGregor.
Presently, the most likely Main Event appears to be between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.
It’s not confirmed if people without an "in" will be able to purchase the tickets. They may be auctioned off to the highest bidders instead or be invite-only.
