Mike Tomlin is a name that National Football League (NFL) fans recognize instantly.
He served as the head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 19 seasons, never finishing with a losing record.
Tomlin's guidance led the Steelers to 13 playoff appearances and eight division titles.
Early in 2026, he joined NBC's Football Night in America as an analyst, marking a transition from his coaching career.
However, Tomlin continues to spark interest in NFL team managers, owners and presidents.
Amid recent talks about the growing interest in Tomlin, the award-winning NFL reporter, insider and analyst, Jason La Canfora, said in an exclusive interview for Casino Guru News: "It would be monumental."
The expert pointed to Tomlin's significant experience at Pittsburgh, highlighting his exceptional ability to win and coach the team.
"Mike Tomlin's only been experienced in an organization, Pittsburgh, right, as a head coach his entire time there, that does win and has a winning culture and has a continuity and has an ownership that's second to none," La Canfora said.
Still, the award-winning NFL reporter and insider pointed to the significant investment securing Tomlin's services would require, especially if the New York Jets are the ones interested.
"It would require a lot of money and a lot of power and a lot of allure and a lot of wining and dining to secure Mike Tomlin's services, especially if you're the New York Jets," La Canfora said in conclusion.
