Tech expert Matteo Gabrielli joins Continent 8 Technologies

The award-winning supplier of managed connectivity, cloud, hosting and security solutions, catering to the global gambling industry, Continent 8 Technologies, announced a new senior-level appointment. The company revealed it hired Matteo Gabrielli, an expert with extensive technical experience, to the role of Senior Technical Solutions Architect.

Strengthening its senior-level team, Continent 8 Technologies anticipates further expansion on a global scale, supported by a growing team of industry professionals. In his new role as Senior Technical Solutions Architect, Gabrielli will oversee and support existing partnerships for the company. Leveraging his experience, he will focus on ensuring Continent 8 Technologies' clients receive the best services and benefit from its infrastructure.

The latest senior-level hire comes on the heels of another important appointment. Last month, Continent 8 Technologies confirmed it appointed Andrew Mudge to the role of Regional Sales Director. This marked an important senior-level appointment that strengthened the company's executive team at a time of continuous growth. Similarly, Gabrielli's recent hire is also expected to positively impact the expansion of the company.

Gabrielli shared his excitement in a recently released statement. "I am excited to support Continent 8’s incredible customer base in maximizing the potential of the cloud," he explained. Finally, Continent 8 Technologies' new Senior Technical Solutions Architect added: "Continent 8 has built a great team of cloud specialists and I'm thrilled to be working alongside some truly talented people as we continue to enhance our offering and strengthen our relationship with customers by supporting them on their cloud journey."

Edward O'Connor, Continent 8 Technologies' Chief Technology Officer, spoke about Gabrielli's solid experience, saying that he makes the perfect for the new role. "That we can bring in someone as experienced and talented as Matteo demonstrates our commitment to expanding our cloud business and collaboration with AWS as an advanced partner," added O'Connor.

Last but not least, Continent 8 Technologies' Chief Technology Officer pointed out: "Our customers already trust us with the deployment and management of their AWS Outpost solutions and they leverage extensive network peering with AWS; we’re going to offer customers so much more in 2024 and our new team members will play a big role in that."

To the new role, Gabrielli brings extensive experience from the gambling sector. As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) expert, he has a strong understanding of technology and a track record within the tech vertical.
