International Game Technology, the leading gaming company that is recognized for the quality of its solutions, games and technology, signed an important agreement, propelling its presence in Europe.
On Tuesday, the company confirmed its subsidiary, IGT Global Services Limited, joined forces with Loterie Nationale, Luxembourg's national lottery.
The collaboration complements the successful collaboration between the duo which dates back more than two decades.
Under the terms of the new 10-year contract, IGT agreed to deliver OMNIA, its high-performing and player-centric solution.
In addition, Loterie Nationale will tap into the company's cloud-based iLottery system, benefit from IGT's remote game server (RGS) and overhaul its central gaming system.
The latest contract follows a competitive procurement process that ultimately designated IGT as the perfect provider to fuel the Luxembourg national lottery's growth.
Recognized as an innovative solution, OMNIA helps connect retail and digital lottery solutions, granting lotteries access to centralized data.
Ultimately, the solution benefits not only operators but customers too, who can enjoy enhanced experiences.
The access to OMNIA will enable Loterie Nationale to benefit from a range of applications that are easy to use, tap into analysis options and useful tools.
The collaboration also sees the lottery operator tap into the recently updated Retailer Pro terminals by IGT.
As explained in a statement by the leading gaming company, the terminals are "providing cutting-edge technology for high-volume retailers."
Last but not least, the 10-year contract grants Loterie Nationale access to IGT's GameTouch and GameTouch Draw S2 self-service lottery vending machines.
Jay Gendron, IGT's Chief Operating Officer Global Lottery, acknowledged the successful business collaboration the company had with Loterie Nationale.
He explained that IGT helped the lottery operator grow its retail presence and introduce iLottery in Luxembourg.
In conclusion, Gendron pointed out: "We look forward to continuing that momentum through our future-forward technology portfolio that gives Loterie Nationale access to top-performing IGT games, improved analytics, advanced responsible gaming tools and increased scalability."
Léon Losch, Loterie Nationale's Director, was just as excited about the latest announcement.
"IGT has been a trusted partner to Loterie Nationale for more than 20 years, supporting retail growth and digital evolution," he explained.
Finally, Losch said: "Upgrading our lottery and iLottery solutions with IGT's advanced technology can pave the way for our continued sales growth, provide our players with best-in-class experiences and position us to continue our support of good causes."
Recently, the National Council on Problem Gambling awarded IGT with iCAP Ready accreditation, recognizing the company's extensive efforts toward responsible gambling.
