Salt River Community Gaming Enterprises names Patricia Tate CEO

• Starting from August 1, 2026, Patricia Tate will serve as the CEO and President of Salt River Community Gaming Enterprises

Salt River Community Gaming Enterprises (SRCGE) confirmed a new senior-level promotion.

On Thursday, SRCGE revealed that Patricia Tate was named President and Chief Executive Officer.

The long-term exec assumes an elevated role

Before her promotion to the C-suite role, which is effective August 1, 2026, Tate was part of the executive-level leadership of the organization for years.

She is an enrolled member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, and her appointment marks the first time a woman and first enrolled tribal member will be serving as CEO of SRCGE.

Tate has a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

What’s more, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Arizona.

Her successful career at Gaming Enterprises started in 2004 as a Controller.

In 2006, Tate was promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer and in 2011, she was once again elevated to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

In that role, she provided key leadership at a time when Casino Arizona expanded rapidly, and Talking Stick Resort opened its doors.

Ultimately, Tate’s senior leadership, guidance and advice helped position SRCGE well for long-term growth and success.

She held the key role through 2026, before her latest appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer.

In her new C-suite role, Tate will be in charge of Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, covering all aspects of the two key venues.

She will be in charge of sustainable growth while overseeing operational excellence and employee development.

Tate’s further responsibilities will include supporting the investment and economic growth of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, among other things.

Gaming Enterprises’ new CEO and President, shared her excitement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"Serving the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in this capacity is both a privilege and a profound responsibility," Tate said.

Moreover, she pointed out: "I am grateful for the trust placed in me and remain committed to leading with integrity, accountability, and respect for our Community's values, culture, and long-term vision."

Martin Harvier, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community’s President, was similarly excited.

He recognized that Tate’s appointment represents a major milestone in the history of the gaming enterprise and the Community.

"After 22 years of dedicated service, Ms. Tate brings a deep understanding of our organization, strong financial leadership, and a long-term commitment to its success," Harvier added.

In conclusion, the executive acknowledged that the Community trusts in the abilities, vision and experience of Tate, who is expected to play a major role in its future and the future of SRCGE.
