Betsson Group continues to consolidate its position as a primary sponsor of sports events all over the world. Now, the company has been designated the Official Betting Partner of Nordea Open, an ATP event, that is due to take place on July 15-21 in Båstad, Sweden.
The event is attracting the cream of the crop in terms of players, with the current world leader Jannik Sinner, along with Rafael Nadal, whose clay performance is hardly matched.
This partnership also adds to Betsson Group’s growing prominence in the tennis community, after the company was previously confirmed as the official sponsor for BNP Paribas Nordic Open, which will also be taking place in Sweden later this year in the fall.
Betsson Group Chief Commercial Officer Ronni Hartvig has welcomed the opportunity to see his company’s regional footprint continue to grow exponentially within the tennis ecosystem.
In welcoming the new opportunity, Hartvig said that Betsson Group was incredibly proud to be the official betting partner for Nordea Open, as the event is expected to reunite some distinct tennis talent.
Similarly, Nordea Open Operations Manager Sara Bergh has said that Betsson Group is a great fit for the event and it will help further consolidate its position as well as establish it on the international scene.
"We are very proud to welcome Betsson as a new partner to the Nordea Open. Betsson joins a strong partner family, and through its commitment will further consolidate the event’s position and presence on the international tennis scene," Bergh explained.
Betsson has been building its list of sports partnerships at a rapid clip. The company has partnered up with many premier clubs, teams and events from across the world of sports, along with prominent teams, including soccer clubs that compete in the world’s S-tier leagues.
Most recently, Betsson Group teamed up with FC Internazionale Milano, confirming its status as a betting sponsor of the club, and agreeing on a range of activities designed to elevate the experience for fans.
Betsson Group’s infotainment logo will be emblazoned on the front of the club’s shirts, raising awareness about the partnerships, enhanced by various social media initiatives. Elsewhere, the company signed a partnership with Atlético Nacional, the most successful Colombian football club.
