The leading video streaming platform, Kick, announced a groundbreaking partnership with the major American video game developer, publisher and esports events organizer, Riot Games.
The alliance, announced Friday, expands Riot Games’ roster of streaming platform partners with the addition of Kick.
The milestone agreement will give players around the world extra ways to engage, co-stream and watch their favorite games and esports tournaments.
Riot Games acknowledged that many esports fans, especially in Europe, MENA and Latin America, use Kick as their primary platform.
In this context, the addition of Kick to Riot Games’ roster of streaming platforms will help the two better serve those communities and reach more esports fans than ever before.
At the same time, the alliance will bring closer esports players, their fan base and gaming content creators alike, delivering unique moments.
According to a press release by Riot Games, the viewing experience on Kick will be similar to other platforms and viewers will have access to the same drops and incentives available during global event broadcasts.
"As for Kick streamers, we’ll also apply the same moderation practices and standards creators on other platforms are held to, ensuring a safe and positive experience for all," the leading video game developer and publisher added.
The partnership between Riot Games and Kick will start with the upcoming MSI 2026, set to kick-off on June 28 and run through July 12, 2026.
Besides growing the number of ways esports fans can watch, the collaboration will also deliver new opportunities for gaming content creators.
As a result, Kick streamers will be able to engage with their audiences in new ways via Riot Games expanded creator and partner programs across VALORANT, Wild Rift, TFT and League.
