SGG Media, Sports Gambling Guides' Division, announced a senior-level appointment on Monday. The Division revealed that it named Troy Paul as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In addition to being CEO, currently Paul serves as a Board Member and a Co-founder of the Division.
In a statement released on November 7, 2022, Paul said that it is delightful to take the position of CEO. He added: "We have become a top sports gambling advertising company and have immediate expansion plans into advertising retail and other products to our 26 million sports fans."
Paul explained that SGG offers its partners in advertising a cost-effective way to engage with younger sports fans. Such demographic includes adults aged 21 to 41. He outlined that this demographic receives sports information "solely from social media." What's more, Paul added: "SGG Media has created a community of sports lovers, just like us!"
SGG Media's new CEO pointed out that the company is a part of a growing billion-dollar industry and offers a unique trait such as micro sports influencers. Finally, Paul revealed: "SGG Media is the go-to source for all sports and sports gambling related social media."
It was back in 2020 when Troy Paul together with Mark-Paul co-founded SSG Media. Since then, in less than three years, the company quickly gained the position of a leading business within the sports betting realm.
Leveraging social media, SGG Media was able to take the sports marketing industry by storm. A testament to the company's success is its rise to the helm of sports social media, currently ranked as the nation's second such company, falling behind only after Barstool Sports which is currently the largest sports social media marketing operator.
Currently, SSG Media features more than 1,300 sports influencers and content creators. The company has a growing audience of more than 26 million followers. Besides social media branding, the company also offers customer acquisition and advertising solutions for some of the biggest sports betting and sports operators in the US.
Such operators include FanDuel, DraftKings, Prize Picks, Fanatics and Fliff, among other leading sports organizations. It's no surprise that SGG Media has a significant presence within social media channels. In fact, in the last few years, the company was among the top three US sports gambling accounts on Instagram. Additionally, SGG Media was one of the leading sports gambling accounts on Twitter as well.
