Betby, the premium sports betting supplier, announced a new long-term agreement with the highest-rated chess player in history, Magnus Carlsen.
On Wednesday, the company confirmed it joined forces with the best-ranked chess player in the world and the recipient of the FIDE Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) award.
Under the terms of the new long-term agreement, Carlsen was designated as a Global Brand Ambassador for Betby.
The landmark announcement complements the company's ongoing dedication to innovation and excellence while highlighting its strategic thinking and plans for future growth.
Leonid Pertsovskiy, Betby's Chief Executive Officer, commented on the topic in a press release.
"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome an iconic figure like Magnus Carlsen to the Betby family," he revealed.
Moreover, Pertsovskiy pointed out: "His legacy in chess, alongside his passion for sports and mastery of decision-making, forward planning, and creativity, makes him the perfect global ambassador for our brand."
The executive pointed to the company's ongoing focus on offering ground-breaking sports betting solutions.
According to Pertsovskiy, the appointment of Carlsen as Global Brand Ambassador reaffirms Betby's goal of innovation and delivering quality solutions to its growing customer base.
Last but not least, Betby's Chief Executive Officer explained: "We are excited and proud to collaborate with such a renowned sports icon."
Besides holding the FIDE G.O.A.T. award, Carlsen is also a five-time World Chess Champion.
He is recognizable across the globe for his unique playstyle, unrivaled chess skill and razor-sharp decision-making abilities.
It was back when Carlsen was a young boy when he took his first steps in chess. However, it didn't take him long to succeed as by the age of 13 he had become the world's youngest Grandmaster.
In 2013, Carlsen won the World Chess Championship title. The following year he also achieved the highest rating in the history of chess.
Carlsen continues to dominate chess players across the globe, regardless if in rapid, blitz or classical format.
The deal with Carlsen comes on the heels of another recent announcement from Betby.
Earlier this month, the company confirmed it signed a multi-market long-term deal with the leading online sports betting company Moonrail Limited B.V.
Under the terms of the recent collaboration, Betby agreed to power the company's CSGOEmpire brand.
