A newly signed agreement between the software, technology and solutions provider, International Game Technology (IGT) and La Française des Jeux (FDJ), the operator of the French National Lottery, will ensure that FDJ continues to deliver engaging and innovative instant ticket games to its growing customer base.

FDJ will continue to leverage IGT's games and technology

Announced earlier this week, the deal follows a comprehensive selection process.

This competitive procurement process ultimately recognized IGT as the best supplier for FDJ in a move that reaffirms the long-standing success between the two companies.

Awarding IGT the contract, FDJ will benefit from the company's top-performing games.

Under the newly signed three-year contract, the lottery operator will have access to IGT's complete suite of quality instant ticket games, including the fan-favorite Infinity Instants titles.

Moreover, FDJ will benefit from the company's digital instant ticket printing platform that stands out with efficiency and flexibility, permitting the lottery to easily produce, design and market instant games.

Last but not least, the collaboration ensures that FDJ will continue to deliver innovative experiences thanks to IGT's technology and solutions while complying with responsible gaming and sustainable growth.

Besides the provider of instant tickets for FDJ, IGT also serves as the lottery operator's primary lottery central system provider. Initially, the duo joined forces way back in 2000.

The partnership complements a successful collaboration between IGT and FDJ

Jay Gendron, IGT's Chief Operating Officer, Global Lottery, commented on the topic in a press release revealing that throughout the successful collaboration with FDJ, the company gained a unique understanding of the operator's goals and focus for sustainable growth.

"IGT's new three-year instant ticket printing contract with FDJ enables us to continue our collaboration, by leveraging our state-of-the-art printing facility and diverse game portfolio to meet FDJ's needs," added the executive.

Finally, Gendron revealed that IGT is looking forward to the success the partnership will deliver for the two businesses.

The positive vibe was shared by Patrick Buffard, FDJ's Chief French Lottery and Retail Sports Betting Business Unit Officer.

He explained: "In renewing our instant ticket contract for the coming three years, we were extremely interested in securing a partner who understands our business ambitions and shares our commitment to social and environmental responsibility."

As explained by Buffard, the deal complements FDJ's sustainability and responsible business practices.

Those practices include the usage of non-toxic inks and ticket coatings, as well as the sourcing of paper from FSC-certified suppliers, among other environmentally friendly objectives.

Earlier this month, IGT PlayDigital announced the debut of its Mystery of the Lamp slot game in several US iGaming markets.

As a result, the online equivalent of the fan-favorite game reached important markets, including New Jersey and Michigan, among others.
