GLI certification paves the way for BETBY's expansion in Brazil

Preparing for the launch of its regulated market, the country introduced a comprehensive regulatory framework, requiring licenses to be secured by betting and gaming companies, as well as providers of software.

Eyeing expansion in Brazil, which is expected to be a major sports betting market on a global scale, BETBY achieved certification from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).

This strategic achievement permitted the company to launch its products with licensed operators that have gone live or have obtained licenses the operate in the country.

BETBY's GLI certification in Brazil is a testament to the company's compliance with the regulatory framework.

Holding a license also recognizes BETBY's dedication to supplying operators with information, security management systems and sportsbooks solutions.

Ilze Ramolina, BETBY's Head of Legal, commented on the topic in a press release.

She spoke about the importance of holding a license and operating in Brazil for the company, deeming the latest achievement a major milestone.

"Brazil represents one of the most dynamic and high-potential markets globally, with its unparalleled passion for sports and rapidly growing digital ecosystem," Ramolina added.

According to the executive, the certification of GLI is a testament to BETBY's dedication to grow and successfully expand in the region.

Finally, Ramolina pointed out: "Brazil is central to our global growth strategy, and we are excited to collaborate with operators who desire to deliver world-class sports betting experiences to Brazilian players."

BETBY remains committed to growth

The latest move complements BETBY's expansion, enabling the company to reach new partners in a brand-new market.

Back in October, the company named the best-ranked chess player in the world, Magnus Carlsen, Global Brand Ambassador.

The strategic move reaffirmed BETBY's intention to continue growing through innovation and excellence.

Before that, the company inked a multi-market long-term deal with the fast-growing online sports betting company, Moonrail Limited B.V.

Per that deal, BETBY agreed to power the company's flagship brand, CSGOEmpire.

Brazil officially launched its regulated sports betting market on January 1 this year.

Undoubtedly, going live in the country will bring many benefits to BETBY, paving the way for its expansion in the region and beyond.
