The leading sports technology company offering services for the global media and betting industries, Sportradar, announced a new partnership on Wednesday with the innovative sports-tech entertainment company FanDuel Group. Under the terms of the new deal, Sportradar agreed to provide its official NBA data for FanDuel until the end of the 2030-31 season.

In addition to official NBA sports data, FanDuel will also benefit from Sportradar's supplementary betting services. The duo also agreed to extend their initial man data agreement deal that dates back from August 2021. As a result, FanDuel will continue to leverage preferred data and odds from Sportradar through September 2031.

Christian Genetski, FanDuel Group's President, commented about the recent deal in a statement released on October 26, 2022. He outlined that offering unrivaled experiences for its customers remains a key priority for FanDuel.

Moreover, he added: "As we forged this deal, it was critically important that our commitment to NBA basketball and its official databe tied to substantial reinvestment in product innovation and enhancements that will ensure FanDuel retains a market-leading NBA offering."

Genetski said that FanDuel is excited to continue to collaborate further with Sportradar. He acknowledged that Sportradar's data represents a strategic element in FanDuel's superior customer experience. Finally, Genetski acknowledged that the deal brings long-term stability to the company.

According to the duo's recent announcement, the new collaboration will enhance the betting experience for sports fans by bringing innovative offerings and products. Such offerings will include the use of "certain player tracking data to create props and support the growth of same game parlays," Sportradar explained. What's more, the new collaboration will see FanDuel leverage Sportradar's Live Channel Trading (LCT) product. This innovative solution, according to Sportradar, is the fastest solution on the market for in-play trading.

Carsten Koerl, Sportradar's CEO, said about the recent deal: "As the largest operator in North America, FanDuel is an exceptional partner, trusting in our products and services to help define their market differentiation."

He pointed out that the company is excited to continue its collaboration with FanDuel amid the continuously growing sports betting industry in the US. At the same time, Koerl acknowledged that the collaboration with the leading gambling company further boosts the monetization of Sportradar's deal with the NBA. Last but not least, Sportradar's boss said: "This deal demonstrates the value of our strategy in delivering products and services on top of data rights."
