Crypto casino platform Winna.com has raised $15m in a seed funding round, Crunchbase reported. The funds will help spearhead the platform’s growth and further assist it in establishing a better foothold in the highly competitive online casino landscape.
Presently, the company operates out of offices in Switzerland and Costa Rica and is planning on possibly expanding beyond depending on its international growth trajectory.
Since it launched earlier this year, Winna.com said it has already secured 10,000 active players, and thousands of additional registrations, with company CEO and Co-Founder Paul Martens remaining optimistic about the future and the advantages his platform offers.
According to Martens, crypto casinos come with "unparalleled advantages" that are hard to match by traditional gaming platforms, not least because of the use of provably fair gaming systems.
As to Winna.com it goes on to offer a number of provably fair crypto-inspired games, such as Plinko and Mines, but also takes the model and applies it to more traditional casino experiences such as Dice, Keno, Blackjack and Roulette.
Winna.com already features an ample portfolio of online and live casino games, with more than 4,000 slots alone. Among the premier partnerships it has secured in terms of content, Winna.com boasts ties with both Pragmatic Play and Evolution, which provide the platform with cutting-edge game shows, which are considered some of the most innovative products in the industry.
The platform is also leaning heavily in the development of a fun VIP and loyalty program designed to be a "cornerstone" part of the platform’s identity.
This opinion is shared by Winna.com Head of Player Development Elias Platzer who is very confident in the success of the VIP program’s deployment as a pillar of further growth and development for the company and the brand.
The platform is not solely limited to online casino games, though, as it similarly offers a crypto-first sportsbook that features more than 10,000 markets to pick from, and covers all major sports events and competitions, including the NBA, UFC, NFL, and more.
