Bally’s Intralot SA has released a new press statement in which it detailed a new contract with Hellenic Lotteries SA.
The collaboration will see the lottery technology company deliver its industry-leading solutions for the Hellenic Lotteries and provide the company with cutting-edge innovation and flexible solutions.
The Hellenic Lotteries has a 12-year license to manage Greece’s state lotteries, specifically passive lotteries and instant games, with Bally’s Intralot now migrating the Hellenic Lottery’s [sic] system to the latest technology stack, including the flagship LotosX Omni ecosystem.
Commenting on the opportunities to further consolidate its presence in the lottery sector in Greece, Bally’s Intralot Group CEO Robeson Reeves had this to add:
"This agreement reflects the trust placed in our technology, our people, and our long‑term commitment to supporting regulated lottery operators. Working closely with Hellenic Lotteries, we aim to deliver a modern, secure, and scalable gaming ecosystem that enables sustainable growth and innovation."
The partnership was met on a similarly good tone by Allwyn Hellas CEO and Chairman Jan Karas, who said it was a pleasure to see Bally’s Intralot cooperate with Hellenic Lotteries in what was described as a new era.
"Ensuring business continuity, revamping and evolving our products, and upgrading customer experience are key pillars of our plans for the new 12-year concession. We look forward to continuing to work with Bally’s Intralot on technology solutions that will help us meet customer expectations, offer innovative propositions and drive business, while improving our efficiency, productivity, and responsible operations," he added.
This is not the only major contract that Bally’s Intralot SA has won recently, with the company reporting a month ago a new contract with Polla Chilena de Beneficencia, SA, the State Lottery of Chile.
Similar to the arrangement in Greece, the company was awarded a contract that can extend up to 12 years and has a 10-year base term, with a possible extension by two years.
The company agreed to deploy its LotosX Lottery Solution, which includes several systems, among which are the LotosX Central Gaming System, PlayerX Player Account Management System, RetailerX Retailer Management System, and the Orion Sports Betting Platform.
Furthermore, lottery retailers in the country are now going to be equipped with 2,500 next-generation and camera-based gaming terminals, as per the official news shared by the company.
