BetMGM Poker confirms the return of Big, Big Series with $6M GTD

BetMGM Poker has confirmed that it will be hosting the Big, Big Series powered by the company at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa on September 13-23, 2026. The poker series features 11 events with more than $6m in guaranteed prizes, with the $5,300 BetMGM poker Big, Big Championship putting a $3m prize on the line.

BetMGM Poker pro Michael "Gag"s Gagliano will also be competing throughout the event, with the player securing a $2.75m payout at the recently concluded 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event, which drew a field of 9,208 entrants, pushing his live career earnings to over $3.3m.

He is not the only BetMGM Poker ambassador. Esther "E-Tay" Taylor is also going to be joining the series, and he will play in the $2,500 Big, Big 9 Game Mix, with a $150,000 guaranteed in prize money on the line. Other noteworthy Big, Big Series events worth poker aficionados’ listed as per the official press release, are:

  • $2,200 Big, Big Kick Off: Two starting flights Monday, Sept. 14, $1,000,000 guaranteed
  • $2,200 Big, Big Borgata Mystery Bounty: Two flights beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16, $500,000 guaranteed
  • $10,200 BetMGM Poker Big, Big Baller: September 17-18, $500,000 guaranteed, with entry fee covered by BetMGM Poker; a $1,100 Milestone Qualifier (Tuesday, Sept. 15) and no-cost Shootouts (Thursday, Sept. 17) offer additional paths in
  • $5,100 Big, Big BetMGM Series Saver Survivor (Tuesday, Sept. 22): Three winners guaranteed $50,000 each, with entry fee covered by BetMGM Poker (rake fee credited back to players' accounts)

Commenting on the return of the seminal poker series, BetMGM Director of Poker, David Mileaf, had this to add:

"The series reflects everything players have told us they want from a live poker series - substantial guarantees, a diverse tournament schedule, and multiple paths to qualify through BetMGM Poker. We're creating an experience that appeals to recreational players and seasoned competitors alike as we celebrate the first anniversary of the BetMGM Poker Tournament Room at Borgata."

The $5,300BetMGM Poker Big, Big Championship will have three starting dates, allowing multiple contenders to enter, including Day 1A on Saturday, September 19, Day 1 B on Sunday, September 20, and Day 1C on Monday, September 21.
