ESPN Bet has become the official sponsor for the upcoming PGA Championship that will be taking place later this month at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. The partnership marks ESPN Bet’s determination to continue growing its awareness among different groups of sports fans, with golf experiencing a strong uptake in interest from bettors.

The partnership will run through 2026 and is an opportunity for both companies to benefit from each other’s unique offer. ESPN Bet, tied to ESPN, offers ample media coverage for upcoming events, and PGA Tour can further benefit from odds and predictions, as well as the boosted profile across, while also reciprocating and covering ESPN’s offer in detail.

Jeff Price, PGA of America Chief Commercial Officer, has welcomed this opportunity and said that he was very happy to see ESPN Bet work alongside his organization. This way, spectators would be able to discover new ways to enjoy and engage with the PGA Championship.

ESPN Bet and the PGA of America have also agreed on an on-site presence with the ESPN Bet Member’s Lounge designed to elevate the experience further and help establish the brand directly on the course as well as via digital channels. PENN Interactive VP of Operations Jason Birney was similarly excited to see the ESPN Bet strike this partnership, effectively marking the first time that the PGA of America has accepted a gaming sponsor.

"We look forward to accessing highly engaging touchpoints to bring ESPN BET onto the course and into the PGA Championship broadcast on ESPN. With the PGA Championship set to take place in states where ESPN BET operates through 2026, this partnership provides us with a great opportunity to interact with and engage golf fans," Birney remarked.

PGA of America also recently joined the American Gaming Association’s Have A Game Plan campaign which is designed to protect consumers by informing them about responsible gambling and how to only play at regulated sportsbooks and betting companies.
