BETER, a leading betting content and data provider, announced an important senior-level appointment.
On Thursday, the company confirmed it strengthened its Sports division with the addition of a seasoned executive in the face of Maksym Vitushko.
Joining BETER's Sports division, the expert with a track record was appointed to the role of General Manager.
In his new role, Vitushko will be in charge of developing BETER's Sports division. He is expected to oversee the operation of the division that currently encompasses sports such as basketball, table tennis and ping pong.
However, Vitushko will be tasked with the growth of the division and the addition of new sports. His responsibilities will also include implementing effective expansion strategies.
Vitushko will constantly collaborate with the senior-level management at BETER and help the company expand its offering, including the popular Setka Cup table tennis tournaments.
His guidance and advice are expected to play a key role in new partnerships for the company and its expansion to new jurisdictions.
BETER's new Sports General Manager shared his excitement in a statement.
"I am delighted to have joined BETER and to be a part of a sports team that has already achieved great things, including building such a prominent and in-demand product as the Setka Cup," explained Vitushko.
The executive said that he has all of the required knowledge and experience for the new role, adding that it will be exciting to bring this value to BETER and fuel its growth.
Finally, Vitushko pointed out: "I'm incredibly proud to be playing a part in BETER’s journey and look forward to working with the team to not only achieve but exceed our goals."
Overall, Vitushko has more than 14 years of experience within a range of sectors. Throughout his extensive career, he held a number of important senior-level roles.
The new Sports General Manager at BETER has particular experience in developing businesses and overseeing teams of up to 2,500 people.
Gal Ehrlich, BETER's CEO, praised Vitushko's solid background and leadership qualities. He predicted that the executive would use his skills to help the company grow its global footprint.
"We have ambitious expansion plans for 2024 and the years to follow, and Maksym will undoubtedly help us achieve the goals we have set in our strategy," added Ehrlich.
Last but not least, the CEO pointed out: "That we are able to attract such a high caliber executive to BETER shows just how far we have come in a short space of time and stands as evidence of our strong position within the industry. With Maksym onboard, we can now take this to the next level."
In April, BETER announced a new strategic deal by teaming up with Superbet.
