Scientific Games, the global provider of online and retail casino games, technology and solutions, powering betting and lottery operators across the globe, announced an important senior-level hire.
The company confirmed last week it hired the seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience, Amy Steinman, to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer.
Joining the C-suite at Scientific Games, the executive will help lead the company's growing workforce.
By now, Scientific Games has a presence in 16 countries and has an estimated 3,000 employees.
Providing strategic advice and leveraging her extensive experience, Steinman will guide the company to its next level of growth.
Pat McHugh, Scientific Games' CEO, shared his excitement about the latest senior-level hire in a statement.
"Amy is a seasoned, energetic people leader with deep experience working across all areas of HR," he explained.
McHugh spoke about Steinman's track record, highlighting her exceptional experience, knowledge and skills.
Finally, McHugh pointed out: "Our entire executive leadership team looks forward to what we can accomplish together, further empowering Scientific Games to thrive."
Currently, Scientific Games supplies its games, solutions and services to partners on six continents.
The company has a presence in 50 countries across the globe, supercharging the operations of 150 lotteries. Leveraging Scientific Games' exceptional games and technology, betting and lottery operators can grow while at the same time increasing the contributions toward beneficiary programs.
The latest senior-level hire comes on the heels of another important appointment announced by Scientific Games recently.
In May, the company confirmed the promotion of Beth Bresnahan to the role of Chief Communications and Brand Officer. Previously, Bresnahan held the role of Vice President of Strategic Communications but was elevated to the newly created senior-level role.
As noted, Steinman brings solid experience to Scientific Games. Prior to joining the company, she was employed by the globally recognizable privately held company, Koch Industries.
Overall, Steinman was a part of the company for 25 years and during that time held important senior-level roles.
Before Koch Industries, she was employed by Georgia-Pacific where she held an HR leadership role. Steinman's extensive tenure includes an important HR role with INVISTA.
