  • Primero Games gained access to gaming markets, products and clients by acquiring Win Systems’ Gaming Division
  • Per the alliance, the former grows its product offering with slots, electronic roulette products, manufacturing capabilities and an installed base of more than 3,000 gaming positions in Latin American markets
  • Executives at Win Systems and Primero speak about the importance of the acquisition

The leading provider of gaming content, technology and products, Primero Games LLC, continues to grow its global footprint.

Only recently, the company has announced the acquisition of the Gaming Division of Win Systems (WSG), bolstering its presence in a number of important gambling markets.

The transaction complements Primero’s expansion

The acquisition covers WSG’s Gaming Division, as well as its Gold Club electronic roulette business.

Thanks to the strategic move, Primero expands its international presence and product portfolio with the addition of established and popular electronic roulette and slots products.

Moreover, the company gains additional manufacturing capabilities and established gaming positions across Latin America and the Caribbean regions.

Notably, Primero already has a strong presence in a number of gambling markets in the United States.

The company offers a product portfolio that includes games, online gaming solutions, an omnichannel gaming platform, and redemption kiosks.

By acquiring WSG’s Gaming Division, Primero taps into established products, manufacturing capabilities and established customer relationships in international markets.

The acquisition covers an installed base of more than 3,000 gaming positions in Latin American markets, like Mexico, Peru, Colombia, as well as Puerto Rico and Panama.

While Primero will continue to support WSG’s clients in those markets, it will also develop new games, technology and platforms.

The acquisition strengthens the two companies

Dario Zutel, WSG’s Executive Chairman, spoke with excitement about the announced acquisition, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"This transaction marks an exciting new chapter for our Gaming Division. We are confident that Primero Games is the right partner to build on what we have achieved and drive the business into its next stage of international growth," he explained.

Eric Benchimol, Win Systems’ CEO, was similarly excited and acknowledged that the key acquisition makes the two businesses stronger.

"Pairing our installed base, manufacturing operations and market knowledge with Primero's game library and development engine means we can bring more, and better, products to our customers faster than either company could alone," he said.

Mike Macke, Primero Games’ Chairman, added that the key acquisition represents a major step in the company’s global diversification and growth strategy.

Moreover, he pointed out: "Primero has built its reputation by creating compelling game content and developing innovative technology that helps operators deliver consistent revenue via engaging player experiences."

Macke outlined that it is exciting to welcome Benchimol and Zutel, along with other talented WSG team members, to Primero.

Finally, the executive predicted that Primero will continue to grow, delivering new products and engaging content while reaching customers in a range of gaming markets.

Financial details regarding the transaction were not publicly disclosed.
