America’s first federally regulated sports-native prediction market, ProphetX, continues to grow its presence across the country.
Earlier this week, the company announced a new alliance with the operator of the popular daily fantasy sports product, Boom Sports.
Under the terms of the new agreement, ProphetX-powered prediction markets will become available to Boom Sports’ entire player base.
The milestone alliance brings federally regulated sports prediction markets directly to the users of the popular daily fantasy sports platform, growing its offering and promising engaging experiences.
Boom Sports users are already familiar with quick, decision-based sports experiences, which is why the addition of sports prediction markets from ProphetX complements the former platform’s offering and is expected to resonate well with the players.
The alliance effectively enables Boom Sports users to trade on CFTC-regulated derivatives contracts with each other instead against a house taking a side in the trade.
This two-sided marketplace enables the buyers and sellers to set the prices, while offering trading on real-world sports outcomes, from end-game results to individual performance markets and season-long futures contracts.
Stephen A. Murphy, Boom Sports’ CEO, spoke about the new alliance, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"At Boom Sports, we're creating a destination where sports fans can engage with their favorite players and teams in a variety of ways," he said.
Moreover, Murphy pointed out: "We're excited to add prediction markets and partner with ProphetX to bring these offerings to the Boom community."
Jake Benzaquen, ProphetX’s Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer, was similarly excited.
He spoke about Boom Sports’ passionate and loyal community that is experienced in using fast and interactive formats.
"Partnering with Boom gives their users direct access to a federal exchange where the crowd sets the price and every participant competes on a level playing field, instead of against the house," Benzaquen said in conclusion.
Last month, ProphetX once again bolstered its footprint via an agreement with Pikkit, the leading tracking and social analytics platform used by sports fans.
