The official body of university esports in the UK, National Student Esports (NSE), announced a new groundbreaking partnership with the country's leading premium student accommodation brand, Vita Student.
Details regarding the new headline partnership with Vita Student emerged on Monday.
Per the alliance, Vita Student is designated as a headline partner of the NSE and the British University Esports Championship.
The landmark sponsorship reaffirms Vita Student's dedication to supporting the growth of competitive gaming in higher education.
At the same time, it provides new opportunities and experiences for students across the country.
Under the agreement, Vita Student will be integrated across NSE's flagship competitions.
The brand will benefit from appearance on live finals, as well as broadcasts, including fan-favorite events like the UK's official university esports competition, British University Esports Championship.
Ultimately, the alliance will play a major role by supporting thousands of students who are competing from universities across the country.
Max Bielby, Vita Student's Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the importance of the new agreement with the NSE, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"We know how important it is for students to feel connected and inspired during their studies. Now more than ever, online communities allow students to be a part of something bigger," he explained.
"At Vita Student, we have a similar mission – to create spaces where students from across the world can thrive," Bielby added.
Finally, he pointed to NSE's dedication to delivering authentic, inclusive community experiences for its students, which is why Vita Student is delighted to support and strengthen student esports.
Tom Dore, NSE's Managing Director, was similarly optimistic and acknowledged the unique opportunities of this partnership.
"Based on our shared values and focus on young people, working with Vita Student as our headline partner for both NSE and the British University Esports Championship allows us to invest further into our competitions, improve the experience for our players, and continue building a sustainable pathway for student esports," he said in conclusion.
