Earlier this month, after surviving nearly three dozen draws, the jackpot from Mega Millions became the ninth largest in the history of the game.
On Tuesday, the game's top prize survived once again and continued to grow just in time for the next drawing on Halloween.
The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Friday, October 31, 2025, which also happens to be Halloween.
Just in time for the spooky holiday, the jackpot will be an estimated $754m, or $352.8m cash option.
This is, in fact, the largest jackpot prize from Mega Millions on Halloween.
In the history of the game, there have been six drawings on the ghostly day, but none have produced a jackpot winner. Maybe that will change this year?
If won, the $754m Mega Millions jackpot would go down in history as the ninth largest and the first top prize from the game won on Halloween.
However, if nobody matches all the winning numbers on Friday, the jackpot prize will continue to grow.
However, to become the eighth largest, the jackpot would need to surpass $810m.
This Tuesday marked the 35th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner from Mega Millions.
The winning numbers from that drawing were 2, 19, 33, 54, 61 and the gold Mega Ball number 14.
The latest drawing produced 502,089 winning tickets within the different prize tiers.
Not only did nobody win the Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday, but also nobody was able to match correctly five white balls for a tier-two prize.
On the bright side, eight players won tier-three prizes, and this breaks down to three prizes of $20,000 each, three prizes of $30,000 each and two prizes of $40,000 each, based on a 2x, 3x and 4x multiplier, respectively.
Within the lower prize tiers, many more players won prizes between $5,000 and $10.
The last time the Mega Millions jackpot dropped was on June 27, 2025, when a single ticket in Virginia matched all winning numbers for a mind-blowing $348m payout.
In the drawings that have occurred since, there have been more than 10.5m winning tickets within all prize tiers, awarding close to $251m in winnings.
