Back for yet another storied and steeped-in-history slot game, Yggdrasil and its YGG Masters partner, ReelPlay have ushered in Spartacus 10K WAYS, exploring the story of the formidable warrior and underpinning it with the studio’s unmistakable features and mechanics.
Equipped with four jackpots and a Battle Spins feature to add to the excitement of the game, the game follows closely on both its theme and original mechanic. The title will take place in a fitting venue – the Colosseum of Ancient Rome where players will have the opportunity to vie against the game and try to produce a win on the 10,000 paylines.
As to the jackpots, they are another signature feature to enjoy with Mini, Minor, Major and Grand options available. Players will also get the chance to lead Spartacus into a metaphorical battle and triumph in his clashes against opponents.
Yggdrasil Product & Program Manager Zoe Bird was pleased with the introduction of the new game, hailing it as another exciting title, offering players a taste of the battle feature.
"10K WAYS makes a return, and with an ancient Rome theme, cascading wins and bonus prizes, this game is a fantastic addition to our growing portfolio," Bird added.
She was joined by ReelPlay CEO David Johnson who was similarly excited about the opportunity to introduce the company’s newest game, developed in collaboration with Yggdrasil and with the incorporation of GATI technology.
Johnson hailed Spartacus 10K WAYS as the tenth title to be distributed under the 10 WAYS series and argued that the feature had proven quite instrumental to this success. He hailed other elements of the game’s design and put them in relief:
"The Battle Spins feature within Spartacus 10K WAYS will have specific appeal to gamers, whilst the epic art & animation will ensure broader engagement showcasing our heroes facing off on the reels."
In the meantime, Yggdrasil has made sure to stay busy. The company announced that it is pushing in the North American market through a deal with Aristocrat Interactive and similarly received the go-ahead in Denmark where the company secured a license to roll out its products.
