FanDuel, the leading betting and gaming operator, continues to grow its North American footprint.
Earlier this week, the company announced its planned entry into Alberta, Canada.
Subject to regulatory approval, FanDuel anticipates bringing its market-leading product to Alberta players on July 13, 2026.
Before the aforementioned date, customers across the province, aged 18 or older, can create their FanDuel account on www.FanDuel.ca.
Not only is the leading betting and gaming company going to offer supreme experiences, but it is also dedicated to investments in local communities across Alberta.
Namely, FanDuel vowed a $50,000 donation to the A Dollar A Day Foundation that helps address challenges related to mental health programs in the province.
The foundation has benefited by $150,000 donated by FanDuel over the last three years with the operator helping support mental health organizations in both Alberta and Ontario.
Equally as important, FanDuel is donating $30,000 to the Canada Red Cross Emergency Management Program in Alberta.
The program provides vital support in moments of crisis and helps communities prepare for disasters.
The entry in Alberta will also bring the fan-favorite Huff N’ Puff franchise to players across the province.
This will be facilitated via an exclusive partnership between FanDuel and Light & Wonder, subject to regulatory approval.
Dale Hooper, FanDuel Canada’s General Manager, spoke with excitement about the company’s latest expansion, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Alberta represents an exciting new chapter for FanDuel Canada, and we look forward to the opportunity to bring our industry-leading Casino and Sportsbook experience to players across the province," he said.
Moreover, Hooper pointed out: "As we plan to enter this new market, we're committed to delivering a best-in-class entertainment experience and meaningful community engagement remains at the heart of everything we do."
