The leading sports technology company, Sportradar, announced a new multi-year partnership with the global digital media company XLMedia on Tuesday. The terms of the new multi-year exclusive partnership will see XLMedia leverage Sportradar's official sports data for its affiliate partners.
Under the recent deal, Sportradar is also designated as the official sports data provider for XLMedia. This means that the company will benefit from tapping into sports information, including real-time sports data products offered by Sportradar. According to Sportradar, XLMedia will have the chance to leverage this data for "leading North American and international sports properties across their owned and operated digital properties, including Sportsbettingdime, saturdaytradition, saturdaydownsouth, CrossingBroad, EliteSportsNY and Canadian Sports Betting."
Besides invaluable sports data, XLMedia also gains access to Sportradar's visualization tools. Such tools and solutions include live match trackers and other widgets that will provide a boost to the media company's content. At the same time, the new collaboration sees the leading sports technology company offer sports insights and betting odds for the digital media company. Thanks to this unique content, XLMedia expects to increase the engagement with sports fans for sports betting operators.
Elizabeth Carter, XLMedia's VP of global marketing and communications, pointed out in a statement that the partnership with Sportradar resonates with XLMedia's plan to boost fan engagement and offer unique experiences for sports fans using its partners' betting brands. She predicted that the collaboration will undoubtedly "increase demand from audiences and advertisers alike."
Brian Josephs, Sportradar's head of regional sales, North America, added: "This partnership highlights Sportradar's ability to be a one-stop shop for exclusive betting data and sports content for XLMedia's high-quality publisher partner brands and highly engaged audiences."
He acknowledged that XLMedia is a proven digital media leader that seeks to offer the best services for its partners. In conclusion, Josephs revealed that the new collaboration will create new monetizing opportunities for XLMedia and at the same time will deliver unique content for bettors and sports fans.
