Playtech has launched its Live Casino portfolio with Veikkaus, the current state-owned Finnish monopoly operator, as the market prepares to transition to a license-based model before long.
Veikkaus’ distinct iGaming offer has now been boosted by Playtech’s live casino portfolio, marking a first for both the supplier and operator. Playtech has been selected as the inaugural live dealer casino partner after a meticulous public procurement process and will provide a diverse range of titles.
Playtech has become synonymous with quality and progress in the live casino sector. The company produces a number of high-performing and out-of-the-box titles and is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to create player value.
Among the company’s best-known games and titles are such picks as Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, Adventures Beyond Wonderland, Spin a Win, The Greatest Cards Show, Blackjack and Roulette.
"We are thrilled to have completed the launch with Veikkaus, marking a significant milestone in our successful partnership. We take pride in supporting Veikkaus in delivering a premium live gaming experience through our state-of-the-art studio and exclusive game offerings.
Leveraging our expertise and market knowledge, we have crafted a tailored Live offering that meets the needs of the Finnish market and provides an unparalleled gaming experience for Veikkaus’ customers. We are excited to have started this new chapter and to continue supporting Veikkaus in achieving their vision in Live casino," Playtech Commercial Director Fredrik Sylvander said commenting on the partnership.
Apart from breaking ground in Finland for the very first time, Playtech has remained committed to expanding its presence in global markets. The company announced in September that it will seek to collaborate closely with Caliplay in Mexico.
At the same time, Playtech expanded with Rush Street Interactive in North America, where the supplier is in a neck-and-neck race with Evolution, another prominent provider of live dealer games.
Playtech also recently dropped its B2C business unit, Snaitech, confirming in September that Flutter Entertainment would be buying out the company.
