Play’n GO has announced the arrival of its latest slot game inspired by Nordic mythology - Viking Runecraft 1000, in which the ancient deities come alive as they strive for power over mortal lands.
The game introduces two fabled Norse gods, namely Heimdall, Freya, and Thor, with each mustering elemental power that could translate into higher payouts for players.
Viking Runecraft 1000 relies on a scatter pay grid that does not have fixed paylines, with eight or more matching symbols anywhere across the 6x5 grid resulting in a payout.
The payout occurs no matter where on the grid the matching symbols appear, but this hardly exhausts all the features Play’n GO has prepared for you.
Similarly, Viking Runecraft 1000 uses Cascading Wins, which means that once a win is triggered, the reels will spin automatically and for free, with a new opportunity to secure a win off the same wager.
The feature may repeat itself until such a time that no more winning combinations are scored, making Viking Runecraft 1000 a particularly tempting game overall!
Furthermore, there are the multi-stage multipliers which will run across 15 stages and offer a maximum payout of 1000x, as well as a God-based multiplier progression.
In the latter option, the multipliers will be allocated to one of the three gods, and each will land their unique power to create even more fulfilling payouts.
On top of that, there is the Free Spins feature, which triggers when three or more scatters land, activating 12 bonus spins.
Other than that, you can expect to find sharp visuals, a very thematically appropriate sound theme, and fairly simplistic symbols, representing the life of Vikinghood, with axes, hammers, and the popular but historically inaccurate horned helmet.
Mythology and history-inspired games have long been Play'n GO's bread and butter, with the supplier recently releasing Legion Gold and the Throne of Dead, another action-packed title.
