Play’n GO has expanded its geographic reach through a new tie-up with Betway which will now see the acclaimed supplier inject its content locally in South Africa. The fast-evolving iGaming market has been identified as a focal point of international expansion efforts, as the broader region presents myriad opportunities for operators and suppliers.
Moving forward, Play’n Go will be bringing a set of titles to the local platform, with some blockbuster picks, such as Book of Dead, Reactoonz and Rise of Olympus among the first to arrive. Overall, there will be 350 titles that Betway will be eventually able to explore and introduce to its local platform, subject to agreement between the operator and supplier.
Play’n GO Chief Commercial Officer Magnus Olsson was similarly pleased with the opportunity to see his company grow in the local market and bring hard-hitting titles locally that are bound to appeal to audiences.
"We are on the record as saying that we are committed to being active in every regulated market in the world, and it’s always exciting to add a new market for our business," Olsson said.
Olsson hailed Betway as a premier betting and gaming brand with which his studio was looking to collaborate in the exciting local market. Betway Country Manager South Africa Phillip Superamonien was similarly pleased with the opportunity to strengthen the operator’s local portfolio with a string of established and prominent titles.
"Betway is committed to offering bettors in South Africa the best casino games experience possible, and having Play’n GO’s games on our platform is another step toward displaying our commitment in offering our customers the most popular and entertaining gaming content, in a safe, secure and responsible environment," he concluded.
The companies have previously worked on a content alliance in the United Kingdom when Play’n Go launched its content with Betway’s local operation in October 2023. As to South Africa, Betway has been committed to growing its library of titles.
Several important partnerships have been formed over the past several months, including a tie-up with Gaming Corps and ESA Gaming, both of which have provided Betway with an extensive range of titles.
